After a recent expansion and remodeling period, this hotel unit combines the original and the contemporary, gathering and displaying the symbols of this northern region of Portugal: the river, the wine and the "filigrana" (a local type of traditional jewelry).

The luxury and sophistication, simultaneously vintage and contemporary, are one of the main distinguishing features of this hotel, which results from the recovery of several buildings of the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.

Thanks to the preservation of its original architecture, the building is already considered a World Heritage site.
