The Macdonald Monchique Resort & Spa is the result of the renovation of an hotel closed since 2014 in the Algarve hills.

Property of Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, this is now the largest hotel unit in Monchique and it is entirely directed to the well-being, starting with its location in Serra the Monchique, just 30 minutes from Portimão.

Macdonald Monchique Resort promotes a wellness experience, but there is also the gastronomic offer. It has 4 restaurants: the gourmet Mon-Chic, led by Chef Louis Anjos, the Petiscaria, the Pizzaria da Serra and the Mercado Culinário, the latter entirely devoted to the regional gastronomy. Moreover, the hallmark of the group, each hotel is based on a distinctive concept shaped on the identity of the place where they are located, and the Macdonald Monchique is no exception.

All the equipment for kitchen, preparation areas, production, pastry, pantries, bars, buffet, show cooking, cold rooms and storage room was provided and installed by FN hotelaria.
