In late 2024, the kitchen underwent a renovation process. At Steak & Sun, FN hotelaria supplied and installed the cooking equipment.
Steak & Sun opened in 2018, positioning itself as a "sophisticated space dedicated to premium cuts of meat."
As at Audax, executive chef César Vieira is in charge of the restaurant's culinary offerings. For Steak & Sun, he created "a menu focused on the essentials: product, flavor, and intention." But "orchestrating the day-to-day operations" is the responsibility of chef Vicente Carrero. The focus is "working with excellent products, with technique and respect for their origin."
This gastronomic space is part of the MJF group, originating from Ponta do Sol, Madeira, and responsible for brands such as The Old Pharmacy and Audax.
