The ceremony took place on March 10th in Funchal. FN hotelaria was distinguished "in recognition of its outstanding performance, innovative spirit and significant contribution to the economic and social development of the Autonomous Region of Madeira".
FN hotelaria was honored by the President of the Regional Government of Madeira. Miguel Albuquerque emphasized that “FN hotelaria is an example of what we want to extend to all of Madeira: specialization, technology, design and quality. […] This is a company that was and is the result of the collective effort of its employees. Congratulations to everyone for the work, determination and dedication that have allowed Madeira to be projected onto the world stage of hospitality.”
João Abel de Freitas, FN hotelaria’s Chairman, said that "it is an honor to receive this recognition from the Regional Government, increasing our responsibility and commitment to the future." He reiterated his recognition of the role of the team he leads, adding that "What truly fulfills us is being a Madeiran company, with 95% of our staff born and residing in the Region, maintaining our headquarters here and projecting our services internationally."
Also present at the ceremony were Eduardo Jesus, Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture, and José Manuel Rodrigues, Regional Secretary for Economy.
This is an honor we are very proud of, especially as we celebrate our 43rd anniversary, which was on March 9th.
