The Michelin Gala 2026 took place in Funchal on March 10th, at the Savoy Palace hotel.
Galáxia Skyfood restaurant was the setting for some of the most memorable moments of the event.
Located on the rooftop of the hotel, with a unique view of the Madeiran capital, Galáxia hosted high-end gastronomic events in the context of the Michelin Gala. Networking moments for chefs and food critics also took place in this space, as well as the presentation of the menu that this restaurant will debut in April, created by chefs Roberto Barros and Celestino Grave. Contemporary cuisine, local ingredients, and Madeiran culture will continue to be the focus of Galáxia's gastronomic offer.
Last week, Savoy Palace became the epicenter of Portuguese gastronomy, and its dining spaces of excellence, signed by FN hotelaria, served as the venues for such a prestigious event.

In this context, we must highlight the cooking block from the Italian brand Marrone, one of the stars in the Galáxia kitchen, with design, supply and installation by FN hotelaria. A completely personalized equipment, colored in blue to fit in the decoration of the space.
In 2019, FN hotelaria was selected by Savoy Group for the supply and installation of equipment for the many preparation, cooking and pastry areas, pantries, bars, wine cellars, buffets and show cooking areas, cold rooms, storage areas, staff refectory and laundry at the Savoy Palace hotel. The Vacation Club's mechanical ventilation and air conditioning installations were also under our responsibility.
