FN hotelaria completed in May 2026 its work on the installation of Centro Tecnológico Especializado Industrial do Agrupamento de Escolas de Fernão do Pó (specialized industrial technological center from a portuguese school cluster), in Bombarral (Leiria).
This new technological center encompasses the areas of professional training in cooking and pastry, restaurant and bar, and environmental and rural tourism. In this sense, its spaces have been modernized and equipped with the furniture and equipment necessary for the various areas of study offered by the institution.
Having won the international public tender, FN hotelaria supplied and installed the kitchen equipment (production, pastry and pantry), storage area, bar and cold storage facilities, and supplied small appliances and kitchen and catering utensils.
One of the major differentiating factors of this project is the level of quality of the selected solutions. This training center was equipped with internationally renowned professional equipment, used in kitchens with high standards of technical expertise, namely prestigious Michelin-starred restaurants and top-tier hotels. Examples include Marrone cooking blocks, Convotherm ovens, Rational VarioCooking systems, among many other professional equipment aligned with this quality standard that make up the project.
Through a strong commitment to quality and innovation on the part of this educational institution, it has been possible to create learning environments in line with the standards of contemporary professional catering. Everything has been prepared so that students have access to a study context very close to the reality of national and international haute cuisine.
This project is positioned at a level of excellence in the context of modernizing professional training in the hospitality and catering sector in Portugal.
For FN hotelaria, it also proved to be a strategic project, in terms of size, technical requirements, and its status as an unavoidable benchmark in the world of educational institutions linked to the hotel sector.
