The building, closed for over 8 years, has been renovated and modernized to meet the highest standards of hospitality. The Editory Ocean Way Funchal presents itself as a luxurious retreat in an urban setting, promising a "contemporary and welcoming experience." This hotel has 98 rooms and suites across 6 floors and also offers a spa, 24-hour fitness center, and 3 swimming pools.

The panoramic terrace houses one of the hotel's two restaurants. It's called Afe-Nafe and focuses on shared meals, snacks, and a more informal atmosphere: it's the place “where the spirit of the island meets the sophistication of a modern rooftop."

Madeiran identity is also celebrated at the Abra restaurant, dedicated to all-day dining and locally inspired cuisine, and at the Levada bar, "where local culture meets the elegance of a contemporary bar", as stated on the hotel's website.

The Editory Collection Hotels brand has 13 hotel units in Portugal.

FN hotelaria was the company responsible for the supply and installation of equipment for kitchen areas (preparation, production, pantry and pastry), buffets, bar areas and pantries, storage areas, staff refectory, cold storage facilities and laundry.

Our HVAC team was responsible for the remodeling of the HVAC and domestic hot water (DHW) production systems. The scope of this installation included climate control, ventilation and air distribution systems, domestic hot water production and storage, cooling, pool dehumidification, and heat generation, among many other components. These services were provided to the client Tecnovia Madeira, who held the subcontract for the HVAC and DHW-related works.
