Since 2016, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has an exceptional space for training national teams in various sports, with modern facilities that house everything from the FPF headquarters to training fields, to Casa dos Atletas (hotel for athletes), to the multi-purpose pavilion, to event areas, and other amenities.
The development of this infrastructure has gone through several phases in which FN hotelaria has had the privilege of participating.
FN hotelaria collaborated in the creation of Cidade do Futebol (city of football), inaugurated by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) in 2016, and the accommodation unit in 2020.
In 2025, we continued the initial work, advancing to the 3rd phase of Cidade do Futebol – building 2, which allowed us to proceed with the supply and installation of equipment for the kitchen areas (preparation, cooking and pantry), bar, cold storage facilities and storage area. In this context, we were also responsible for supplying and installing the ventilation systems for the kitchen, office, and storage area.
In the last months of 2025, the work related to the 4th phase of Cidade do Futebol was completed. With a new intervention in Casa dos Atletas, FN hotelaria supplied and installed the kitchen equipment (cooking and pantry), buffet, bar, cold storage facilities and storage area.
With these facilities, the Portuguese Football Federation offers unparalleled conditions for the sporting activity of athletes.
