It is in July 2019, after the success quickly achieved by its “older brother” Kampo, that Ákua appears.
It is presented as a “street restaurant”, where sea flavors and land flavors are combined in a “creative fusion”. Fish is the main character, but the menu also includes vegetarian proposals and some meat dishes.
FN hotelaria was the company responsible for the supply and installation of the equipment for Ákua’s kitchen, today an important restaurant reference in Funchal.
